Welcome Baby Charlie!!!

Yippee! We are so proud and excited to announce that we are "Auntie" and "Uncle" again as my sister, Kristin had her baby boy last night at 10:10pm. Charles Kenneth Lindstam arrived weighing 7 lbs. and 7 oz. and is 19 inches long. We can't wait to go to the hospital tonight to meet him and get some pictures! Congratulations to Peter, Kristin and Samuel on this new addition to your family. We love you!!!

12 Week Appointment

We had our 12 week appointment on Monday and got to meet our OB/GYN, Dr. Kremer. The baby's heart beat is 165 beats per minute. It was neat to have Luke there to hear it. Hearing Baby Peters' heart beat makes it feel real that he/she is on the way. Our ultrasound is scheduled for February 10th. Can't wait!

Our Family is Growing!

Luke and I are proud to announce that our family of two is turning into a family of three in July 2010! We shared the news with our families over the weekend. It was such a memorable day! We can't wait to meet the little one! (Sorry, we are keeping the sex and names a surprise...) Let the countdown to Baby Peters begin!

Holiday Cheer

We "decked the livingroom" over Thanksgiving Break at Mark's house...it's sort of becoming a tradition. Our day of fun with Mark came complete with airplane rides, wrapping Hippert and Kallie's stuff and putting it under the tree and discovering Luke is allergic to Christmas. Enjoy the pics!

5K Reindeer Run!

We did it! Candy and I participated in our first 5K together last Saturday. (Way to go Candy!) We hope to make it an annual tradition before baking Christmas cookies with our family. Here are some pictures of our day!

New Patio Door!

Thanks to my Dad for helping create a new look in our home. We got our brand new patio door! (An exciting time at the Peters' household.) Luke also finished the trim in the basement and hung a new door to the laundry room. I will post a picture of the new patio door soon. Yay!

I feel so special to know that my dearest cousins Ashley and Danielle are ALSO checking my uneventful life out via my blog.... Here is the latest in my life...

1. I got in a fender bender car accident last weekend and earned $1, 279.00 in insurance money for damage to my front and rear bumpers. I am NOT fixing my car because it isn't that bad and we'd rather put the money to good use. Yippee!

2. My basement painting job is now on coat #3....recommendation...never paint with red....it takes FOREVER to cover.

3. Lukas and I are trying to decide what to do on October 18th to celebrate our 1 year wedding anniversary....any suggestions!?

4. Looking forward to hosting a bridal shower for Candy and a baby shower for Danielle in the coming months....let the planning begin!

5. Classes at Hamline are going very well and my 5th graders are awesome this year. I am exhausted at the end of the day but I like to think I am releasing all my positive energy at school and that I've earned the right to be tired.

Celebrating at Sarah and Chad's Wedding

Reed and Chelsea came to visit me on my birthday with her mom's new puppy, Tinka. My sisters and mom celebrated with me, too but we didn't get any pics together....bummer!

Happy Birthday to my friend, Jen, who celebrated at our house last weekend!!! This is her with our flower girl, Kaelin, who is getting sooo big!
