Green Thumbs???

Thank you so much to Dad, Mom, and Grandma Helen for coming over to help with our gardening! We couldn't have done it without you. We are learning a lot about what it means to be homeowners and have a yard...turns out it's a lot of work, but we're having fun with it!

Here is my flower garden in progress!

What a great team...

It doesn't look like much...but it's a start to something beautful!

Race for the Cure!

I totally stole this picture off of my Kristin's blog....but that's because I am really wanting to update our blog and I don't have a camera to do so! My sisters and I walked in "Race for the Cure" on Mother's Day. After the loss of my dear friend's mother, Gwenn Dolney in April and my Auntie Holly in March, I couldn't think of a better way to spend my Sunday. It felt good to be a part of something big. Let's pray to God that someday a cure will be found. Thanks Kristin and Candace! It's always great to spend time with you.

Congratulations!!!

A HUGE CONGRATULATIONS goes out to Jeremy and Candace as they celebrate their engagement! We couldn't be happier for you! What a gorgeous couple. We look forward to your big day! Much love to you both! (Way to go Jerm! I might be biased...but I think she is quite a catch.)

Happy Engagement Monks!

Happy Easter!

We spent our Easter weekend in Appleton visiting Luke's family. What a great time it was! It was very fun to see Tamara and visit with our 4-year-old nephew, Kohl. My how he has grown!
I had a lot of fun dying eggs with Kohl, Barb, and Angie. We were also able to celebrate Mark Lee's birthday with him and see Grandma Peters and the Peters on Sunday. We hope you enjoyed your weekend, too!

We were able to celebrate Barb and Angie's birthdays early. They are the 17th and 18th of April.
Happy Birthday!!!

Kristin, Sam and Oscar come to visit!

Kristin, Samuel and Oscar moved in with us last weekend so Peter could remodel the floor in their kitchen. We had a great time during their visit, but I think Sam had the most fun of all!
Check out the pictures below to see how busy he was while he was here.
Chillin' outside with mommy

Reading a magazine with Uncle Luke

Breaking in his first coloring book with Mom and Auntie Candy

Thrilled about his "Cars" birthday plates from Auntie Candy

(pronounced with a Boston accent "Caas")

Exploring Auntie Amy's backyard with Grandma Kim

(Mom, next time you shouldn't ask Sam to borrow his
hat and mittens when you're cold...you know he's to nice to say no.)

Thanks Mike and Emily!

I tried to upload a video of the guys cutting the tree down in our yard, but it didn't work...so all you get is this picture of Mike and Luke "working" in the backyard. Thanks to Mike and Emily who have spent multiple "Sunday Fun-days" helping us out in our yard....cutting down trees, raking, burning branches. We make much better progress when you are there. We owe you huge!

Chicago!!!

We went to visit our friends, Kim & Adam and Brennan over St. Patrick's Day weekend. It was tons of fun! I had never been to Chicago before so I had an extra good time. We tried to watch the parade, but couldn't see because there were so many people. They dye the river green for the festivities. We had a great time hanging out with Kim, Slota and Big B. Thanks for your hospitality guys!
